An on-line friend referred me to a YouTube video about Liquid Fluoride Thorium Reactors (LFTRs). Since it also dealt with rare earths and how the Chinese got a monopoly on this strategic resource, I found myself very interested. So I looked up more information, which you can also do by searching YouTube, Wikipedia or Google for "LFTR" or "Thorium". It seems we turned away from this kind of power in the early 70's because it does not produce Plutonium for weapons. LFTRs are "walk-away safe", help dispose of current stocks of hazardous nuclear "waste", and do not use pressurized reactors like the Uranium solid fuel reactors we currently use, or produce green-house gases. Look into this, and I believe you will re-think your position on nuclear energy. We ought to be doing This! It can solve several important problems.
You can choose the color of your shirt when you order it. But look carefully before you finalize the choice. The software is stupid enough to print black images on a black shirt. Which is fine, if you are trying to win points for subtlety. But is kind of hard to read. So make sure you can see everything that you want.
